The farmhouse! One of my absolute favorite places I got to visit! This house is featured all throughout the show in Seasons 1 and 2. It is absolutely gorgeous in person and I immediately fell in love with it! The owners have since remodeled it and the barn behind but it’s still recognizable. I had to take a photo with my Letty because it’s so iconic to the show. ❤️

I wish I could have seen the back of the house and the barn and took photos but it’s a real home owned by real people and I wanted to be respectful and not trespass.

Fun fact, this home was also featured in the 1990 film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. 🐢

Next on my list was the little church Letty drives by on her way to see Jacob after leaving Daphne’s house in Season 1 Episode 1 “So You’re Not an English Teacher.”

On the way here I actually ended up driving past “Estelle’s” white farmhouse without realizing it because I had in my head I would see the little church first. The magic of television! 🤩😉 This little church is about 5 miles past the farmhouse.

Fun fact about this location, it was also used in the road block scene in Season 2, Episode 4 “I Think It’s A Sign.” They were driving in the dark and in the rain but If you look closely at the screen cap you can see the church’s sign and staircase/walkway. Sneaky sneaky filmmakers! 😂

Since I was headed to Wilmington from Durham, the first place I stopped was from Season 2, Episode 4 “I Think It’s A Sign.” This was a Holiday Inn Express when the show was filmed back in 2017, but it’s now The Inn at River Landing. I did not go inside as I was not a guest staying there but I wanted a cinnamon roll from the H.I.E.! 😉

So those who know me know how near and dear to my heart this show is. I mean, my Letty is named after the main character. 🥰🐾 So when I got the opportunity to work in North Carolina, I absolutely had to go and check out some filming locations from my all time favorite show! I had a blast and took two days to go down my list of 50+ locations and still didn’t see them all. Just means I’ll have to go back to Wilmington again before I leave NC. 💗
